Security Service Field Technician

Service Technicians diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on card access, CCTV, burglar alarm systems, electronic fire alarm systems and other related building system products at customer sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to repair equipment.
  • Service, troubleshoot, and install card access, CCTV, and burglar alarm systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
  • Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding through communication devices such as smart phones and laptop computers
  • Obtain customer signature upon completed service call assignment.
  • Available for on-call emergency service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Fire Alarm Service Technician

Individual applies codes and knowledge of electronics, logic-based programming, project management, software, control systems, wiring, troubleshooting, and overall building construction in order to install, test, troubleshoot, and program commercial Fire Alarm Systems for clients. The individual must have excellent communication skills and interact with a variety of clients under minimal supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage the field process of implementing and maintaining an electronic building system.
  • Test, install, program, and troubleshoot a complex building wide alarm system.
  • Diagnose problems and perform service and repairs on electronic fire alarm, integrated security systems and other related building system products at customer sites.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with co-workers and customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Perform administrative duties as necessary in relation to the position in a timely and organized manner.
  • Travel within the Chicago-Metro area and occasionally out of state.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Project Manager

The Project Manager will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organizations research, development, and product implementation efforts. They will supervise at least 2 people and have decision making powers within their department. Supports the entire portfolio of Esscoe’ s product offerings to business and industrial establishments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the construction and close-out of assigned projects, ensuring budget, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction criteria are met.
  • Review drawings, budgets, schedules, material ordering, logistics plans and other project-related matters with customer representative, field technicians, sub-contractors, and design staff.
  • Confer with supervisor while reviewing schedule, cost, and sales decisions when necessary.
  • Share job cost responsibility through monitoring budgets and schedules, prepare pencil draws, oversee project related AIA billing with accounting team, resolving problems, and reporting cost projections to supervisor on a monthly or more frequent basis.
  • Propose and negotiate owner change orders.
  • Write and approve change orders.
  • Work with governmental agencies to aid project success or resolve job problems as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Service Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Service Sales Account Manager to join our team and drive growth within our fire alarm and security service solutions division. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for service sales, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. As a Service Sales Account Manager, you will collaborate closely with both internal teams and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their fire alarm and security infrastructure. This is a salaried, exempt position with a commission package and bonuses for performance goal achievement and forecasting accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive service sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the fire alarm and security solutions sector.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through proactive outreach, networking, and referrals, establishing a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with the Service Sales Account Manager Lead and other Account
  • Managers, showcasing strong interpersonal skills and a cooperative mindset to ensure successful achievement of shared objectives.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to conduct assessments of clients’ fire alarm and security systems, identifying areas for enhancement and upsell.
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals, clearly articulating the value of our service offerings to clients.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulations, and advancements to stay informed about the latest developments in fire alarm and security technology and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software.
  • Coordinate closely with project management and technical teams to ensure seamless project implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales support, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, case studies, and other collateral to support sales efforts.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and expand the professional network.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
